“Dear children! Also today I am calling you to be prayer. May prayer be for you the wings for an encounter with God. The world is in a moment of trial, because it forgot and abandoned God. Therefore you, little children, be those who seek and love God above all. I am with you and I am leading you to my Son, but you must say your ‘yes’ in the freedom of children of God. I intercede for you and I love you, little children, with an endless love. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

A violent fire at a military base near Madrid spared nothing except a small statue and surrounding vegetation.

The events took place at the El Goloso military base, located near the Spanish capital, seat of the nation’s armored infantry brigade “Guadarrama.” According to several Spanish news sites, including Infovaticana and Religión en Libertad, a fire broke out that was impossible to control, burning most of the surrounding vegetation.

Once the flames were extinguished, to the soldiers’ surprise, in the middle of the charred area, stood a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes—totally undamaged! What’s more, the soldiers were shocked to see that the grass near the statue had not been touched by the flames and that it was even still surrounded by vases filled with flowers, also intact, as if the flames had respected the space around the statue.

The fire took place on July 30, in the middle of the heat wave which had descended upon Spain. The soldiers could not explain why the statue had suffered no damage nor why the flowers had not even been blackened or withered by the heat. The story quickly spread though social networks, some suspecting a fraud, but further investigations have dispelled all possible doubts. In the photographs, one can easily see that the ground is completely burnt, except near the statue.

Indeed, for the most part, the soldiers on the base did not know that there was a statue of the Virgin in their garden. However, some of them who had a special devotion to Mother Mary had recommended themselves to this representation of Our Lady of Lourdes. And, the statue had already participated in official ceremonies at the military base.

Fire rainbows are "one of many optical phenomena that exists when the sunlight interacts with various types of clouds -- especially those in the highest level of the atmosphere, which are largely made of ice crystals," said a rep for the National Weather Service. "This really represent nature's more beautiful color shows.

"Anyone is very fortunate to be able to capture them."

The rainbow, Carole Rich-Williams said, appeared overhead around 2:40 p.m. in Isle of Palms South Carolina -- an island just outside of Charleston.

"After about 30 minutes it seemed to dissipate," she said. "I do not know how long it was there, but it was truly magnificent. It looked angelic."

with violence and dissension at home.
Everywhere in our cities and towns,
in our colleges and schools,
even in our churches,
a spirit of strife too often prevails.

These are all, as you know better than I,
the fruit of sin,
a sign of human instability and insufficiency.
Help us by your power before God to be peacemakers.
Help me especially to pray and work for peace in my family
and my neighborhood whenever I can.
I ask this favor in the name of our Lord, the prince of peace.

Catholic artist Stephen B. Whatley often feels what he calls a 'Divine Push' to honour Christ and His Holy Mother and the Saints. His drawing was created on the Feast Day of Saint Martha on July 29th.

This special Novena To Saint Martha should be recited for nine Tuesdays: It's said that this miraculous Saint grants anything before the Tuesdays are ended, no matter how difficult.

"St. Martha, I resort to thee and to thy petition and faith, I offer up to thee this light which I shall burn every Tuesday for nine Tuesdays. Comfort me in all my difficulties through the great favour thou didst enjoy when Our Saviour lodged in thy house.

I beseech thee to have definite pity in regard to the favour I ask (Mention favour). Intercede for my family that we may always be provided for in all our necessities. I ask thee St. Martha to overcome the dragon which thou didst cast at thy feet.

One Our Father and three Hail Marys, and a Glory Be. Amen.

Bishop Arthur Serratelli from the Paterson Diocese of New Jersey, has designated August as a "Diocesan wide month of prayer for those suffering religious persecution.”

As Pope Francis recently remarked, "The dramatic news...about violence, kidnapping...and harassment against Christians and other groups does not stop. We want to assure those involved in these situations that we do not forget them, but we are close to them and pray insistently that, very quickly, the intolerable brutality of which they are victims is put to an end." (Angelus, May 1, 2015).

St. Bernard, one of the Saints we celebrate in the month of August had a deep faith in the power of prayer, and in the intercession of the Blessed Mother. “In danger, in distress, in uncertainty,” he says,

“think of Mary, call upon Mary.”

“Dear children, I, as a mother who loves her children, see how difficult
the time in which you live is. I see your suffering, but you need to
know that you are not alone. My Son is with you. He is everywhere. He is
invisible, but you can see Him if you live Him. He is the light which
illuminates your soul and gives you peace. He is the Church which you
need to love and to always pray and fight for – but not only with words,
instead with acts of love. My children, bring it about for everyone to
come to know my Son, bring it about that He may be loved, because the
truth is in my Son born of God – the Son of God. Do not waste time
deliberating too much; you will distance yourselves from the truth. With
a simple heart accept His word and live it. If you live His word, you
will pray. If you live His word, you will love with a merciful love; you
will love each other. The more that you will love, the farther away you
will be from death. For those who will live the word of my Son and who
will love, death will be life. Thank you. Pray to be able to see my Son

The lips on a painted image of the Virgin Mary, on display at the St. Charbels Church in New South Wales, Australia, were reportedly witnessed moving along with the reading of the Lord's Prayer.

The video featuring the Virgin Mary seemingly moving her lips went viral after a man named George Akary posted it to his Facebook page on July 19. It has attracted curiosity from many Christians and skeptics.

"I saw this during mass and at the end of mass the rosary is prayed," explained Akary. "I went to the altar and wanted to confirm via recording it... lights are not relevant and there flickering etc as I have seen this occur under various lighting and have considered those possibilities. It is what it is."

According to Akary, the pace of the congregation's prayer seemed to be parallel to the movement of the Virgin Mary's lips. Apparently, he was not the only person who witnessed the reported miracle.

Dedication of the Statue of Mary, Our Lady of Knock

Saint Mary's Parish of Denville, New Jersey, held a Rite of Committal and Dedication of a new Statue of Mary, Our Lady of Knock in memory of Monsignor James H. Murray.

Monsignor Murray's family, including church parishioners, and Knights of Columbus members attended the service. Fr. Martin Glenn and Fr. Richard Tartaglia presided over the dedication and both spoke during the homily.

Monsignor Murray served Saint Mary's Parish from 1971 until his retirement in 2007. He passed away on June 14, 2014.

Monsignor Murray will always be remembered for his dedication in serving Saint Mary's Parishioners for nearly 36 years.

"Dear children, I desire to work through you, my children, my apostles, so that, in the end, I may gather all my children there where everything is prepared for your happiness. I am praying for you, that through works you can convert others, because the time has come for acts of truth, for my Son. My love will work in you - I will make use of you. Have trust in me, because everything that I desire, I desire for your good, the eternal good created by the Heavenly Father. You, my children, my apostles, are living an earthly life in union with my children who have not come to know the love of my Son, who do not call me 'mother' - but do not be afraid to witness Truth. If you are not afraid and witness courageously, the truth will miraculously win, but remember, strength is in love. My children, love is repentance, forgiveness, prayer, sacrifice and mercy. If you will know how to love, by your works you will convert others, you will enable the light of my Son to penetrate into souls. Thank you. Pray for your shepherds. They belong to my Son. A Timely Message Regarding Archangel Michael and God's Reign of Peace

Message from Jesus: “My Father’s timing to fulfill Revelation 20:1-3 has arrived”

On Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday of 2015, I received the following message from Jesus through a locution.  Our Lord communicated: “My Father’s Will is to mitigate apocalyptic events, suddenly it will happen.”  Jesus made reference to Our Heavenly Father’s timing in fulfilling Revelation 20:1-3 with a thousand year reign of peace. 

Jesus connected His communication to Our Lady’s message that I had received in a spiritual locution on February 26, 2015. Our Lady’s communication said: "Consecrate the world to Saint Michael the Archangel's protection," and made reference to the violence in our world including the chaos in the Middle East. 

In my locution, Jesus went on with His announcement and said, “Therefore, consecrate the world to Michael the Archangel’s protection in accordance with Revelation 20:1-3 to accelerate and move forward with a millennium of peace.”

Our Lord made reference to scripture and Revelation 20:1-3, “I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.”  This scripture is connected to St. Michael the Archangel and his work in successfully completing God’s plan for world peace.  In fulfilling this scripture, Our Lady of Fatima’s promise for world peace is accomplished. 

In addition, Jesus indicated the process of consecration: The Holy Father  (Our Pope) with church parishes and clergy are to join in prayer concurrently to consecrate the world to Michael the Archangel’s protection in accordance with Revelation 20:1-3; Hence, fulfilling scripture and the Word of God.  Jesus communicated, “I Will mitigate apocalyptic events, lawlessness, violence, and persecution of the faithful - suddenly it will happen.”  

Jesus than made a direct comparison to Pope John Paul II and his action in consecrating Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25, 1984, in St. Peter’s Square, Rome. This was done in accordance with Our Lady of Fatima's request.  Shortly after, the Berlin Wall came down and the Soviet Union/Russia broke up with the fall of communism.  Suddenly it happened!

There’s an additional scripture which also holds true to our current time: "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people - everyone whose name is found in the book - will be delivered." (Daniel 12:1)

This message is of great importance and must not be disregarded!

May the Holy Spirit be a guiding light for God's church and His people. 

Please pray for the fulfillment of Revelation 20:1-3 in our time. Thank you very much for your prayer support.

Pope Francis: Now is the time for mercy

In a world marked by suffering and fierce persecution – especially of Christians – now “is the time for mercy,” Pope Francis said, speaking at the vigil for the Feast of Divine Mercy.

Reflecting on the ongoing persecution faced by Christians, the Pope said, “our prayer is all the more intense and becomes a cry for help to the Father, who is rich in mercy, that he may sustain the faith of our many brothers and sisters who are in pain.”

For our part, we are to seek the grace of “conversion of our own hearts,” whereby we are moved “from indifference to compassion,” he added.

The pontiff made these remarks during his homily for Evening Vespers in St. Peter’s Basilica, minutes after a public proclamation of the Jubilee for Mercy in front of the Holy Door.

The Jubilee is an Extraordinary Holy Year that will open this year on Dec. 8 – the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception – and will close Nov. 20, 2016 with the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.
